The Wrath of God Almighty

 Do we know the heart of God? Do we know this God we worship and sing about, whom we testify how he has blessed us how he has rescued us from the hands of our enemies how he gave his only son to die for us....do we know him?do we really know him and his heart or is he just a being in heaven whose job is to bless us and answer our prayers according to our will and wish...as if we are the creator and he was meant to work for us serve us instead of him...we sing how his love endures forever and yes it does, it endured seeing his only son suffer and die on a cross to save his children from death and destruction...we know that but do we know why he endured do we really know about this love this perfect love that he has displayed through every page of his word...do we know he is holy do we know nothing about him is evil nothing about him is impure he is righteous do we know we were made from his own image after his own likeness hence when he reveals himself to us through his word he is calling us to be holy and righteous for he is holy.Do we really comprehend what it means to be created after God's own image oh do we? because if we did we would be in awe of him we would know truly we are wonderfully made the best of all creation...we would understand why the enemy goes after us seeking to destroy us. We would know why hell is at war with the children of God and we would put on the whole armour of God...which dear reader is the word of God,not your daily affirmations not your self love routine not your go to preacher or podcaster not your favorite influencer not social media not your stress relieving routine not your possessions beauty connections nothing of this world,we are even deceived a star can guide us,the universe has control over our lives...let me tell you today and right this minute our identity, who we are can only be found in the one who created us,a created thing cannot know or determine anything for us or about us that is purely divination...nothing even in ourselves or in this world can protect us from the enemy it's only our creator...him who rules forevermore him who is the voice that is the word him who is holy him who is Alpha and Omega...am talking about God Almighty...Jehovah...Yahweh...Yeshua

We know his mercies are new every morning his grace,his grace is always covering us but do we know how much he hates sin...the cross should tell us just how much...we don't know his wrath we no longer fear him or did we ever really? We know the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom but even our knowledge of this fear is not theologically right it has deception and falsehood written all over it...why? because we have low to none biblical literacy we think we are smart when we are utterly foolish. We are deceived by the enemy to think we can orchestrate our own lives be Lord over our lives do as we please live as we please glorifying our flesh and still worship God the next day because his mercies are new every morning...because he will bless us we say to ourselves we are still alive hence he has still preserved us.We will ask for forgiveness and he will forgive us...we will repent yet still not turn away from our wrong doings because we have not known his ways nor his heart...just like God says in Hebrews. Our hearts have been hardened by the deceitfulness of sin and do you know what else he says? He says in Hebrews 3: 11  As I swore in my wrath they shall never enter my rest. In this chapter Paul is speaking of Jesus Christ as the high priest and apostle of our faith. He says we are his house if we hold fast our confidence and pride in our hope. And what i see is he starts by calling us holy brethren who share in a heavenly call. He doesn't call us loved brethren he doesn't address us as children of God...he calls us holy, holy brethren and he goes on to say who we are...holy brethren who share in a heavenly call consider Jesus the apostle and high priest of our confession. This tells me that if and when I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and saviour if I say yes to him,he is not only my apostle but my high priest...i share in a heavenly call with Jesus Christ and his body...which dear reader is the church...the church is the body of Christ...we are a holy brethren.
Let me give you Hebrews 3. Let's see what the Holy Spirit says about sin. In Hebrews 3:7-14
Therefore as the Holy Spirit says,Today when you hear his voice do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,on the day of testing in the wilderness where your fathers put me to the test and saw my works for forty years. There I was provoked by that generation and said "They always go astray in their hearts they have not known my ways. As I swore in my WRATH they shall never enter my rest.  Take care brethren lest there be in any of you an evil unbelieving heart,leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another everyday as long as it is called "Today" that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we share in Christ if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end.

Jesus didn't die to keep us in sin with a notion in our heads that we are saved. No, he came to save us from sin because sin is death...we no longer see the enemy came to steal kill and destroy we no longer see darkness for what it is we think its modernization of art and culture you know acceptance that we are different hence sin differently when its witchcraft divination and a mockery of the God we so claim to love and worship...do we really?Do we love him? Let's start with do we know him? Because i find it extremely hard to believe you can love and trust someone you don't even know. Do we adore him?Do we humble ourselves before him and repent?Do we turn away from our sins and cry on his feet to forgive and deliver us?Are we in awe of him?Do we tremble before him in fear reverence and surrender?Do we realize we are nothing short of our father?Are our hearts hardened so much that even the grief of his Spirit in us...the holy spirit can't get to us?Are we so far away from him far from his heart that we need people to tell us how we can hear the voice of God because we are too lazy and distracted to get in the word yet restless at the same time...too ignorant to realize we have greatly sinned against him repent and go to his feet with sorrow in our hearts... humble ourselves before him put on sack clothes and cry to him to have mercy upon us...tell him to put in us a heart of flesh to soften our hearts...cry and beseech him not to hide his face from us...to open our eyes again and wake us up from the sleep of death.

Yes i sound angry because i am angry but mostly i am grieved...i think i sometimes avoid getting into social media because of the anger it arises in me...but you know what really makes me retreat and just observe...its the ignorance that is in us,the pain that we have come into agreement with the traumas that we have allowed to shape our beliefs and view of God and ourselves. We no longer believe he can save and redeem us, forgive and restore us because we have fallen too far from him hence we compromise and live below his standard because we don't just think we are worth it...the most painful part is we think he is not worth it we don't really believe...we are just like the Israelites we have come to the wilderness and now complain daily built another altar where we bow down to... we have made everything an idol even things that were meant to be blessings...we all have our own golden calf because we have believed the God Almighty we once knew or thought we knew has forsaken us...every single day we grieve him he tells us my people perish for lack of knowledge...and the question i keep asking myself is why are we running towards the death the destruction the bondage of sin he suffered to save us from?is he not worth laying your life down for when he laid down his for you...he even humbled himself to be man he came down to live like we live that he may understand us better go through what we go through and still show us how to live a life that pleases the father a life of obedience surrender and submission to only him...he is God that's how merciful and loving he is...is he not worth taking our cross dying to our flesh and following him...is he not worth the glory...is he not worth beholding his face in his holy hill...is he not worth spending eternity with...would we rather choose the path that is wide and leads to death...is that how foolish we have become?

We really think we know it all,smart,generational curse breakers,we think we have it all figured out when we are so far away from him who has all the power all the might all the majesty who created everything we see around including us. Oh yes let me tell you we cannot save ourselves if we would Jesus wouldn't have died and took all our sins, literally became sin on the cross. The Bible has become just another literature book to us...and even when we read it we interpret it to suit us our situations our lives and our desires...to make us feel better as if its a motivational book we have forgotten the Bible was written for us to know God who is who was who is to come...to know him fully. Are we aware brethren the people who wrote it were inspired  by the Holy Spirit, God spoke through them. They were under his authority because the Bible is about him we need to read it searching for Christ... Jesus Christ...the word is not just a book it's a double edged sword our weapon against the enemy our only weapon if we don't know him how can we escape deception temptation how can we escape the traps of the enemy....

How can we know ourselves if we don't know him? how can we know him when we don't take time to know him when we don't get in his word humble and submit ourselves under his authority. How can we believe he knows us when we dont know this word is living and active sharper than any two edged sword that pierces to the divisions of soul and spirit of joints and marrow discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And before him no creature is hidden but all are open and laid bare to the eyes of him with whom we have to do. (Hebrew 4:12)
Have we forgotten that Jesus is our high priest. No lets take time and wonder why David wore sacks instead of clothes couldn't eat nor drink when God revealed to him how he had sinned before him...what does wearing sacks mean...could it mean grief sorrow...if it does then what is it about God David knew that when he sinned against him he felt the grief of the Holy Spirit to his very bones neither food nor drink could take away the sorrow of his sin...oh we know about his mercy and that's okay but I tell you today there is a wrath of God all his children encounter when we sin against him...Peter says its like going back to dirt...and when we walk outside his ordained will there is a certain grace we don't get...we are not covered hence what befalls us is the full consequence of sin... because we have laid ourselves open and bare for the enemy to have a foothold in our lives...and you know what's the worst thing about satan...he will never get satisfied he destroys everything in his path he makes sure he has you in cycles that even your seed end up in and he is so damn petty he even sends monitoring spirits to make sure you never come out as he can't be everywhere at once...he puts a target on you and all that is yours...i would write concerning the first child that  was conceived by Bathsheba when David laid with her but am not there yet i need to study it fully before i write atleast...but dear reader read that story let God reveal to you his heart in every word let him soften your heart to understand sin conviction repentance grief and the Holy Spirit in us who also was in David in me and in you...and the same way he softened the heart of David and revealed his sins to him he will reveal ours too because guess what we have all fallen short of his glory me you all of us but the beauty is there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. We are never too far away from him for his hand to bring us back to him. He will always be the good shepherd he leaves the 99 for each of us...the question is are we ready to follow him when he comes for us because baby he is already at the door waiting for us to open. I want to cry.
You know what else is worse...we think the enemy is after our purpose our blessings our mission on earth our family our destiny...my my my... we think its about us...no he knows your identity is in Christ and we have been saved that is whether we receive the gift of salvation or not...it doesn't change the fact that we were saved and redeemed on the cross...and we are no longer separated from God through Jesus Christ. Nothing in this world no powers no depths nor things present nor things to come can separate us from the love of God in Christ  Jesus and the enemy had won in separating us from God in the garden of Eden but on the cross at Calvary God redeemed us back to himself and when he defeated death and rose again he took the power back from the enemy now not even death can separate us nothing can and the enemy knows this very well and just like he waged war in heaven before he was thrown down like lightning he now wages war against the children of God those who love and follow Jesus Christ because he knows his time is short even here on earth remember Jesus took back the power and authority through his resurrection and everything now is submitted under our saviour and his judgement...you know the devil knows his time is short before he is thrown in the furnace of fire with all his little demons he knows this very well because guess what? Satan was once an arcangel and he knows the word of God is living and active.He knows it so well maybe more than we care to know...he knows the power in this word he knows when God speaks the word shall go forth and do as he has spoken because it is a living word he knows when his judgement was uttered it cannot be reversed it is eternal...and he hates the glory of God he hates his creation everything about God because he wanted the same glory but couldn't get it hence rebelled...in smaller words he is after your identity which is Jesus Christ...that's where you are hidden in him who created you. And he knows if he can get you away from him he can steal kill and destroy you.

Now war arose in heaven Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon,and the dragon and his angels fought but they were defeated and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down,that ancient serpent who is called the Devil and Satan,the deceiver of the whole world -he was thrown down to the earth and his angels were thrown down with him. And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying,"Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come,for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down,who accuses them day and night before our God. And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony,for they loved not their lives even unto death.
Rejoice then,O heaven and you that dwell therein! But woe to you O earth and sea,for the devil has come down to you in great wrath,because he knows that his time is short!
And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown down to the earth,he pursued the woman who had borne the male child. (Rev 12:1-6) But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness,to the place where she is to be nourished for a time and times and half a time. The serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman to sweep her away with the flood. But the earth came to the help of the woman and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the river which the dragon had poured from his mouth. Then the dragon was angry with the woman and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring,on those who keep the commandments of God and bear testimony to Jesus. And he stood on the sand of the sea.(Revelation 12:7-17) I would write the word if i have to but reading it for yourself is what makes the difference...seeking God,this word is so powerful,it got the answers to everything we are facing and that we will face in future.

He only wants us to fall as he fell eternally,to perish. He knows we have been saved by grace that's why he desperately wants to keep us in cycles, addictions bondage and fill us with shame that we may not go to the throne of grace seeking mercy in times of need. He tells us we are not worthy we are too dirty too far gone in fact it is better if we just take our own lives he fills us with shame and despair he will tell us anything any lie to keep us from going to Jesus our high priest. He knows we are already forgiven already loved eternally already restored and redeemed. He knows Jesus saved us and no sin can ever separate us from him not even death. And in this minute i want to lay my hands on you dear reader and pray with you. I don't want my words or my writing to make you feel condemned   i want our hearts to be softened for the Holy Spirit. I want us to be aware of his presence in us to remember our bodies are a holy temple for him and we have grieved him in our thoughts and in our actions. All of us. I want this article to disturb you to awaken something in you that you may deal aggressively with sin and surrender to our Almighty Father that he may renew your heart mind and spirit.

But above all i want us to know with every atom in our being that God has not condemned us,because of the Great sacrifice he offered on the cross we have been saved. He loved us even before we loved him he knew us before we knew him and you are not too far gone from him. Even before you sinned he still loved you and he still loves you even now because he is Love and his love is perfectly unconditional. He has dealt bountifully with you. I don't know what lies the enemy whispers in your mind. Personally it's like warfare. Sometimes i don't even know how to fight i just cry to God and tell him to save me because it feels like I am sinking and losing it. The negative thoughts can get too overwhelming the second guessing can make me isolate myself sometimes even from him. We are all going through something we are all fighting not to sink to stay afloat but I tell you dear reader there is a perfect high priest and his name is Jesus Christ, he is waiting for us. I tell you i love you but he loves you so much more he knows everything you are going through and he knows how burdened you are. There is power in prayer in community in fellowship. And you may not know me nor I you but we are all members of one body...his body we are a holy brethren. I just want to lay my hands on you and pray not for you but with you. I want you to know you are not alone I want you to know him. Jesus Christ and i will keep telling you about him until you go to your word and tell him now i want to know you. The Jesus this girl keeps talking about. I encountered him and my life has never been the same again. And now looking back the people in my life especially my sister had planted a seed of him and it grew and finally I encountered him for myself and scales fell from my eyes i felt fire consume me i couldn't stop shaking or crying i just said yes to him because i knew in that moment he had been pursuing me all along and i was tired of hiding from him of rebelling. I said yes to him and one day when the time is right i will share my story with you. Dear reader all I am saying is he is pursuing you too that's why you have read this article till here when its so long😂. I am glad you did and he is with you. Always has been and I want to plant a seed of faith in your life too. I want to testify that he did it for me he will do it for you too. He loves you so much. Now let's pray together:

Father Lord Jesus Christ,our Lord and Saviour, hallowed be thy name,thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Lord we lift your name and glorify you. We say thank you for all that you have done for us. Thank you Jesus for the sacrifice you made on the cross,thank you for obeying our father and coming down to live amongst us. You are our perfect high priest You went through suffering and pain yet still endured Lord and now i accept this gift of salvation that you have granted me. I don't know how I lived my life far from you but that too in itself is evidence that you have persevered me,in all my sinful ways all my ignorance all the times i wronged you and went against your commandments you have preserved me in your mercy. You have shown me mercy I don't deserve I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof but Lord i would be a fool to think I can live this life without you. I can't God we beg you in your mercy we beseech you we humble ourselves before you with sorrow in our hearts for we have wronged you greatly in our thoughts and in our actions. We have made room for sin and tried to manage it instead of rebuking it and repenting of it. We saw your grace as freedom to do all that we desired and in that moment we have lived in the flesh and grieved the holy spirit in us. Lord we pray we plead with you Lord Jesus to forgive us,in our own stubbornness and rebellion we have been hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. Now Lord our eyes have been opened to see that we are so far from you,we ask you Lord to grant us a heart of flesh and lead our souls into repentance. Teach us to lead a life worthy of our calling for we are a holy brethren and we share in a heavenly call. We plead with you God with tears in our eyes sorrow in our hearts have mercy upon us for we have greatly sinned against you. Put the sorrow and grief of our sins in us that we may see sin for what it is,death, reveal to us ways we are grieving you teach us to hate evil and love good for you are a good God you are holy. Oh Lord draw near to us don't hide your face from us we need you...we desire to walk before you holy for you are holy we desire to spend eternity with you. We desire to go back to the cross where we first saw the light we desire to sit on the table with you and proclaim your name among the nations. Lord we need you, sanctify us that we may be more like you. Teach us Lord to surrender to you all that we have to submit to the Holy Spirit who lives in us...that we may live to glorify him and not our flesh who rebels against your law of righteousness. Lord even when we fall short of your glory or are faced with temptation grant us the boldness and confidence to come to the throne of grace to seek you that you may help us in time of need for you are our high priest. May we not hide in shame or try to fight by our own strength and might for that too is a sin of pride God. May we remember everyday oh God that we have been saved by grace not our actions lest we may boast. Help us draw closer to you arise in us soldiers for your kingdom that we may live to be all that you created us to be. To spread your gospel the Gospel of peace to love our neighbours as we love ourselves to make disciples and glorify you for what you have done in our lives. Create in us a love deep hunger and desire for your word that is living and active. Above everything God I pray that you may reveal your love for us may we know you God for ourselves. Heal us from our pains and traumas for you are a healer just by a touch of your hem Lord. Fill every void in us for we have gone astray thinking we could find healing somewhere else in another place only to be caught in the traps of the enemy... save us oh Lord we need you we your children cry to you today and we worship and trust that you have heard our prayers and those in our hearts that have been left unsaid. Hear us oh God thank you for this community thank you for everyone who has read even if it's just a paragraph thank you for the seed of faith that you have planted in them. I pray this trusting and believing in our Lord Jesus Christ Amen. Peace.
