The Outpouring Peace of God

Hey you,hey me,hey us...hello everybody....I was in a hype state till one worship song made me emotional and shifted the mood completely...like I previously said there is something about worship, something beautiful about worship that I hope we will never tire to unveil...I must say my week has been wonderful,I don't know how it's been frankly but standing here all I can think of is wonderful because I made it and I grew,I went ahead...can I tell you a little story;you know everytime we are ushering in a new year we always have a word or a goal we desire to accomplish throughout that year, something to guide us and put us back in line when we stray...I am those kind of people, December is my birthday month and everyday am celebrating my born day I always tell God my expectations and desires for the next year,I meditate and find a word that suites me...this year was no different...this year though I had two words,I remember how elated I was to dive in and see how the year would unfold but all that changed one night, when I was praying God told me my word is Go ahead, and for the next couple of days the word sank in my spirit...I can't explain it but I forgot one of the words I had selected for this year...Actually the day he deposited this word is the same day he told me about my blog and stirred my hunger for it...I can't even explain how but that word shifted everything for the better, now in this season it's my anchor, everytime I am down and lonely I take out the note I wrote that day and read it again it's now my anchor...I know it's my time to go ahead and trust God with all I have,to go ahead and let out my roar,to go ahead and do what scares me most,it's my time to go ahead and step on the water,I can give myself the permission to because God already set the ball rolling, the only thing I can do is roll with it and see where it leads me....

I had so many things I wanted to put down but one that tugged my heart most was the peace of God,the peace of Jesus Christ...I won't lie this season made me  less of the dramatic woman I am and more of a calm girl I never knew I could be...peace became the thing I treasured most...in my last article I touched a little concerning it...can peace make the calling, when I think about it I can't help but pose it as a question because honestly that's where am at,that's what I've been leaning into this past weeks...can the peace of God make the calling...I told you how I had so many things so many decisions I had to make so many plans so many giants I didn't know how to fight by my own strength...I felt I was still a little girl I didn't want to do this I didn't know how yet the peace of God was so present so mighty in my life even when I tried to worry about the giants ahead of me,I couldn't his peace had filled me up to a point I couldn't worry...and I remember Joyce Meyer once said if you do not know what to do with a problem with a decision how to go about things just follow the peace of God and let it make the calling... menn I didn't understand it,I still don't frankly...how can I do this...the peace of God had engulfed me but deep down I wondered how the giants would be defeated how I would cross though and make it to the other side,God yes I am at peace and contented but how will the problems be solved just give me an assurance that everything will be okay and go as I hope they would and maybe just maybe I won't have to worry maybe I will rest in your peace.

I wish I had all the right words to articulate what's in my mind but truth is I don't,I only know one thing... sometimes the peace of God is on the other side of obedience. That's what I know for sure...when I started writing this article,I didn't know or understand this peace...can peace really make the calling, can I really trust the peace of God,can I rest in the peace of God and let him work things out and work me along with it...weeks later,so many has happened so many things have changed for me,I am proud to say I have learnt something new, something profound something I would love to share with you all hoping it will bless your heart, let you in on the peace of God and how obeying him opens your heart to receive his peace no matter the storm around or within you.

When I started writing this article I was not sure about it,I had so many decisions and giants ahead of me God had given me peace over them  but I didn't know how to rest in his peace, how to trust his peace, how can I, everything looks wild, huge and terrifying...it's easy to hold on to the peace but it's hard to trust and rest in it, because doing so meant I trusted him to take the lead and handle everything...my only question was can peace make the calling can this peace, this peace that God gave me, blessed me with really make the calling...by this I mean can I take this peace rest in it and trust him to handle everything.

Life moved on,I left this article on that note...even wrote other articles and notes but deep down I had this feeling I would come back and complete this,I would uncover the answer to this question...I think I did,I know I did...I wanted an end of one of the giants I was facing in this season,in fact the main one...and I remember telling God about it,praying that next year would begin on a good note.

Honestly this has been my hardest article, putting it down has been a hurdle, mainly because I was not sure what I was writing about and when I thought I did words failed me,language failed me,I just couldn't sit still and meditate on it,I could come here and write I felt like something was blocking my mind and the worst part is I felt I was the one blocking my mind...I could sense the holy spirit pulling me to my notes taking me back here countless times but I wished the words could be left unsaid...

The Outpouring Peace of God,my original title was can peace make the calling until God made me or rather told me to do something I didn't want to do...I remember questioning him so much like God do my tears mean nothing to you?do my anxious stressful days mean nothing to you?you say you care for me yet you break my heart...yet I still love you with every broken piece of it,my life this year has felt nothing short of a wilderness...nothing familiar...when I was done giving him my petition I started internalising what he told me am going to do and how my next year three quarter of it would look like probably...I felt like crying yet I couldn't cry because the more I thought about it the more I remembered the battles he has fought for me and won,the battles we came through together steadily and intentionally with me in his embrace, how he held me closely and tightly how he gave me a new identity I remembered every battle came with weapons and at the end I emerged stronger and more powerful than I was...I concluded I could trust him with this battle too, this season that he is telling me it's not over yet, that we still have a long way to go,I could trust him when I feel broken by his will,I could trust him because in previous seasons he showed up for me he showed me his might and power he revealed himself to me and now when I feel like he's calling me deeper into the wilderness in the storm I can obey and trust him to hold me.

It's when I made this decision that I gave him my yes,I just decided to obey his will for me,of course am far from liking it because its not those pretty seasons,it's tough hard and lonely...yet the loneliness doesn't disturb me, weirdly it's comforting...it's like he fills me up...one day I will write it down my only hope is someone reading my articles will know that seasons change others are hard others easy some are filled with moments of joy laughter and energy others are filled with moments of tears stress deep breakdowns and worry...others are valleys others mountains other sandy beaches...but one thing that remains the same is God,his grace will always be sufficient for you no matter the kind of season you are in...dare I say seasons shouldn't determine how close we are to God...we should always envision to have our eyes fixed on our creator to seek him in truth and in spirit to let him reveal himself to us and take us from one level of glory to another...I love it! I definitely love that about our God.

Anyway back to my story, when I gave him my yes, everything shifted I felt this overwhelming presence of peace with the exact thing I wanted to escape from, the very thing he was calling me deeper into...I felt it deep in my bones,I felt it when I woke up and when I laid down on my bed,I felt it in my heart I felt it in my soul...if this is not the peace Jesus gave us then I don't know what peace is...just when I said yes to him and decided to surrender to his will,he showered me with peace I had never felt before...well I have and the last time I experienced peace was also a time I gave him my yes concerning his will for my life at that particular time...I think am slowly realising how stubborn I am...because everytime God tells me to do something it's always something I don't want to do or have no interest to begin with...i thought God wanted to see me suffer, this road is too tough God I know I said I loved power but meennn let me be....the more I have matured in my walk with Christ read his word and known him the more I have understood God cannot call me to do something I completely agree with because he is calling me higher he is speaking to a version higher than I am currently...he knows it's time for me to evolve and be developed to embody that version,he is calling me to himself to know him more and deeper to seek him and not be contented with what I already know because there are so many layers so many levels of glory for me to unveil...he is calling me to trust him to develop me into that version to develop my character so that I could carry the weight of his glory for that particular assignment he has stored up for me in the season, he is calling me to himself telling me baby if only you knew what's possible for you what I see in you,you won't settle for comfort you would hunger for my glory to fall down on you...you would not fear but trust me fully believing I have already made the crooked way straight for you and I would never call you in a season I have not prepared for you before hand...my power is already deeply embedded in that season ready to carry you,my spirit is already in you I am in you and I will strengthen you I will lift you up I will draw you closer to me each day...

God knows what's best for us all we have to do is trust he does and lean into him more...stop settling for comfort and familiarity when he is calling you higher...God cares about our sanctification more than he cares about our comfort because he wants to make us more like his son Jesus Christ we are made by his own image and likeness we are his children made of him carrying his glory...we are his masterpiece and shaping our identity in him brings us closer to him...God cannot use you if he cannot have you, your heart means more to him than any skill gift beauty and everything else you possess...he gave you those but his fruits must be developed in you for the fulfilment of his will through the power of the holy spirit. Remember a fruit comes from a seed...when I start on this seed analogy to fruit bearing this article will never come to an end but read the parables Jesus gave from the mustard seed to the sower to cursing of the fig tree, its so powerful...one day I will write an article on the analogy of a seed.

Am about to preach y'all, anyway all am saying is my question concerning peace making the calling turned into this deep knowledge that the outpouring peace of God is on the other side of our obedience, surrender and submission...let him take the lead and be your guide...dare to give him your life...my woman Jackie Hill Perry God I love this woman so much I can't even put it into words...she said when you know God is everything you can give him anything...this is the quote that has blessed my heart this week...she also said God cares more about our sanctification than our comfort the one I have written above and it's so special to me because I heard it when I was struggling to come to terms with God's will for me this season...I didn't like it at first but Mann slowly and surely I have seen how true and important it is...please have a blessed week or weekend this article has been my hardest so far but am glad I didn't quit am glad I poured my heart and gave it out for the world to see that God is a good God and he is perfect in my imperfections❤️ Peace.
